When you book on Oonsa, you pay the full amount at checkout — but that money doesn't go straight to your vendor. It's held safely under Oonsa Payment Protection until your service is actually delivered, so you're never paying for something you haven't received yet.
How it works
- You pay 100% of the price at checkout, and it's protected from that moment on.
- On the day, you'll share a start code with your vendor (we email it to you) once you're ready for the service to begin — this is what tells us the service has actually started.
- Once the service is finished, your vendor will ask you to confirm it was completed.
- You confirm with a completion code, or let us know if something wasn't right — either way, no one can pressure you into handing over a code before you're ready.
- After a short release window, your payment is released to the vendor.
Your verification codes
Your start and completion codes are emailed only to you, never shown to your vendor ahead of time. Only hand one over at the moment it belongs to — starting the service, or confirming it finished — and never before.
If something isn't right
Choosing "There is an issue" instead of confirming completion is always OK — it isn't an accusation, and you never have to sort it out directly with your vendor. Tell us what happened and your payment stays protected while we look into it.
